I was sorry to read about John's death in the newspaper. I spent two summers in Mexico with John in the Amigos Anonymous program. He was a good friend then and a wonderful companion on our project. John also played the guitar at our wedding. We unfortunetly have not been in contact with each other for many years. John was the freestyle anchor to our High School swim team medly relay. I was on that relay and we were also friends outside of school. I have a lot of good memories of John.
I love this picture because that is the smile I remember so well. Always positive.
