SIDNEY - John Wayne Chesnut, 85, of Sidney died at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 28, 2025) at home. Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Evergreen Cremation Services, 314 Tiffany Court, Champaign.

I worked with John at IDOT fr many years. Always had good conversations with him and he was one of few lead workers that was always ready to do workin matter what we were doing. Truly a great man.
