Not sure what to say?

Word just reached me recently about John's passing. I knew John first as one of my customers in my metal detector shop. Over the years we became very good friends with a interest in treasure hunting, and, we both could boast of finding the greatest treasure in all of God's Universe, His only begotten Son . . . the Lord Jesus. What a special very dear friend! He will be greatly missed but just here.

We met John through our coin-collecting hobby; became great friends and invited him to get involved with the Michigan State Numismatic Society, and did he ever! -- donated many hours and leadership to the coin-collecting world. But, the best was becoming friends with him! What a wonderful caring person! We're so very sorry he had to leave us, but are happy he is now with our Lord. We love you, John!

So sorry to hear about my cousin John's passing.
In the Fall of 1964, Johnny and Pete De Genaro took me clothes shopping at Wurzburgs to get me ready to attend my Freshman year at Catholic Central High School. Afterwards , we stopped at Big Boys for a burger. We had a great time that day ! He will be greatly missed.
Our deepest sympathies to Judy and his entire family.

I have known John for only a few years. Our shared interest in coin collecting is how we met. I would see him at the local coin shows once a month. Each and every time it was a warm Hi, how are you doing, what's new? And not just to me, but with everyone he met he showed the same caring and kindness. I will miss him! Sincerest sympathies to all his family and friends.

John was an amazingly patient and gracious man with a huge heart. He worked at West Michigan Academy of Arts and Academics when I first started teaching and I remember we all shared some tears when he decided to retire. I'll never forget his kind words or encouragement and the way he cared outwardly for all who were lucky enough to know him.

I'm so sorry to hear about John's passing. My clear memory goes back to when I was very young. John worked at A & W Rootbeer. He would take me and my brother Carl there now and then to help him with the smallest jobs. I looked up to my older cousin! My heart goes out to you, Judy.

I knew John as a fellow school psychologist for many years. He was always positive and a good person to bounce ideas off of. We attended many conferences together and I have many fond memories of him. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

I worked with John at Wyoming Schools. He was a very caring person working with parents and children. My sympathies to Judy and family.

John and I grew up until are middle teens a few blocks from each other. I used to walk over to his house to play with him and his brother Joe alot. I will always remember that time in our life. John grew up as one of the finest man I've ever known. I can't ever recall John saying a bad thing about anyone. He was always positive and caring about everyone. As adults my wife a I always enjoyed our getogethers with John and Judy lots of laughs and wine. I especially remember the many years we...
