Grandpa, today I may lose your wife (my Grandma. I am deeply saddened and will miss you both soo much. I am truly blessed to have known such wonderful Grandparents. I will miss calling Gramma to get a recipe:) and all the other questions I'd call for. You both were the most caring, loving Grandparents anybody could ask for. I will never forget either of you. I Love n miss you both so much.

I had the pleasure of bowling with John for a few years in a local bowling league. Some teams were hesitant to take on an older bowler but our team was just interested in having fun. And John was certainly fun! We really loved getting to know him -- hearing his stories about his military service, his family, his love for football -- he led a rich and full life. He was a wonderful, charming, and positive man and I will always think well of him.
