Not sure what to say?

My dear Barbara: I am so sorry for your loss of John. Over the years, you cross my mind more than you know. Your endurance and strength is a testament to your amazing characater. I will keep you in my thoughts and heart.

Dear Kim:

Words cannot express how sad we are at John's passing. We love you and want you to know we are thinking of you at this time. May the Lord keep you and the boys in his warm embrance.

Oh my heart is broken... I remember meeting John in 98 while working at Market Street Grill. He was one of the nicest, most genuine human beings I had ever met. His big eyes and enormous smile found a space in my heart that was never forgotten!!! My prayers go out to John's family! I am so sorry for your loss!!

Thank you all for your kind words. I need to point out that the times listed for John's viewing are incorrect. It will be held from Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., not 6 to 8 a.m.

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great Professor and he will be missed dearly.

Dear Christensen Family,

May the Lord bless and keep you. Our hearts are all broken hearing of the loss of John. He impacted every member of our family in such a positive way. We will always remember him for his intense interest in others, his great sense of humor and his ever so pleasant nature. Our thoughts and prayes are with you. We love you all, The Bergman Family

Kim, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and all who loves him. May peace be with you and may god bless you immensely.

The loss of one child is heart-wrenching and life-changing enough. I cannot fathom losing four. Barbara, please know that we love you and that our hearts ache for the loss you, Kim, John's father and the rest of the family must feel. Our prayers and our thoughts are with all of you. Know that we weep with you and for you; but also know that we know John is in a better place. Of that I can attest with the faith and conviction borne of experience. We love you.

My sincere condolences to Kim and the Christensen family. I worked with John at the Metropolitan Restaurant for many years. His spirit was always bright and humorous, we shared many laughs and always had many stories to tell. He will be missed. My heart and thoughts are with you.
