John is a valued and cherished friend, and will be for eternity. He is intelligent, amazing and remarkable. His life is one for anyone to emulate. I love John and his family.

John O was truly a kind and caring person. He was your friend once you were introduced to him. I marveled at him as I watched him handle delicate matters in court and as a young lawyer I learned just by talking with him and observing his courtroom demeanor. He has left a honorable legacy and all of his family should be proud. The world needs more John O’s.

Von and brothers, Condolences on the passing of your Dad. I remember the first time I saw him was when your mom (my 2nd cousin) and he came to my Grandma's funeral back in 1967 in Elsinore. That's a long time ago, yet in many ways time has flown. I'm sure he's having a glorious reunion, actually seeing those who have passed before him.

Uncle John is one of my favorite uncles. Of course, all of my uncles are my favorite uncles. Growing up, I loved going to visit to see my Utah cousins, uncle, and aunt. Uncle John was the best listener and Aunt Laurel always treated me like I was one of her daughters. Very few people have ever left me feeling so loved and wanted. I have missed both of them deeply over the years. I have striven to be like them in kindness to and acceptance of people. I love all of my Christiansen family and...

I consider John to be one of my dearest friends. It is an honor to be associated with him in such a way. He is truly an amazing man. He always seemed to be positive and upbeat. I never heard him complain. He was full of wisdom and humor. I think the Apostle Paul's description of himself fits John to a tee: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." I love you, John.

I just wanted to share my condolences to John’s family. What was said about his law practice in Beaver County, I observed firsthand over 26 years as a probation officer, working with him as a prosecutor and defender. He was remarkable and always remembered who I was as soon as I spoke to him. I’m glad he enjoyed such a long life to share his wisdom and love with his posterity. I had the honor of caring for John as a student nurse in the Cedar City Hospital in 1965, he was just a joy to know and he never forgot my name. What a great example of a man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family
