Not sure what to say?

I will always remember John as one of my best friends in Minneapolis when we were attending the U of M. He and Joyce, his first wife, were great people. I remember thinking that John was way smarter than I (only true of a few people there). We (my wife and I) saw them a few times after I left school and we really enjoyed that. This was at their house in San Carlos CA while John was at Stanford.
Great guy. So sorry he passed well before his time.

Dr. Chubb was a great educator and mentor. I am saddened as I just learned about his passing while searching him online. Rest in piece Dr. Chubb

Angela and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. John was such an energetic, loving, kind, fun, and brilliant man. The world is a sadder, duller place without him in it. I know he will remain a powerful force in your lives and in all of the lives of people he supported and inspired, including all of us at EE. All my love, Keara

Angie and all your family, Marilyn and I offer our deepest sympathy at the lose of John. He will always be in our hearts as a most loved freind.

John was a great educator, thought leader, and collaborator. He will be greatly missed by our members schools and all who personally knew him. I had the honor of meeting him when he visited Choate and at various NAIS events. I thoroughly enjoyed my interactions and conversations with him -- and always left them feeling inspired. My heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to John's family and friends. My thoughts are with you during this exceptionally sad and difficult...
