I was shocked to hear of John's passing. He was an excellent attorney, but even a better human being. He was kind, self-deprecating, and easy-going. I knew John as a superior advocate for the State and the defense. I always looked forward to speaking with him prior to court. He was truly one of the nicest people I have ever known. To say the least, he will be greatly missed.
