Not sure what to say?

"You are never really gone until the last person that remembers you is"
John was an active member of the Calgary Unix Users' Group. We put a note of gratitude to John on our home page, www.cuug.ab.ca

Not sure I remembered to post the link in my previous message. Here's the link to the tribute the ERPNext paid to John: https://discuss.erpnext.com/t/remembering-john-clarke/67614

Hi,

The ERPNext community paid a tribute to John. Here's the link to the post. I am not sure if the family was aware of his involvement and commitment to the ERPNext community, but the post and the great things that people have to say about John and his work maybe something that the family might cherish.

The ERPNext community will miss John dearly.

Best Regards

Jay

Sad to hear of his passing on.
I knew him as a open source (Erpnext) contributor and he did it with passion by helping the community with his knowledge of this great app and surely he has made great contributions in the development of this app.
Surely we shall miss him in this community and always remember him.
May God give his family peace during this difficult time.

John was a grat fan of ERPNext and so am I. We met and interacted on the ERPNext online community. John was an ardent supporter or ERPNext and he was an expert at answering tricky questions for the community.

John traveled to the ERPNext Conference at Mumbain in October 2018 and it was absolutely awesome meeting him and interacting with him.

I am very sad at John's passing away. I and the ERPNext community will miss him, his enthusiasm and the level of detail with which...

I met John at the Sunnyside school where our children went. Soon we became regular companions in the outdoor pursuits. On the river pathways, in the Rockies we biked, hiked and skied. John was a very loyal friend, patient and always ready to help. As I lost my health he was supporting accompanying me. John it was great having you as a friend.

Nothing says more about Dad than this... I found it tucked away on the very last page of his CV. Innocuous, gentle, and thoughtful to a fault, that's our JC.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth." Love is my Dad, this is how I will remember him and hold him with...

My cousin John was one of a kind. Even though we live in England, my husband Brian and I had had the pleasure of getting to know him in recent years. He flew over especially from Ireland to Hampshire, England, to pay a visit to my very elderly parents. That in itself says all you need to know about John. Anyway, as luck would have it, we had a near breakdown on the M25 motorway. But thankfully John was with us – he was a real calming and reassuring influence. He diagnosed the problem in...

Sending condolences and love across many years and many miles to Deena and the whole family. Erica (Stevens Abbitt) and family.
