My late wife, Ernestine Mitchell Bugbee was a friend of John's when we were all young college graduates trying to negotiate New York City. In fact John helped us to find our first apartment in the city and I remember him refusing to rent one apartment to us because it was too small and John diidn't think a young marriage could survive it. A sweet memory of a long time ago and I was terribly sorry to hear of your loss.
