Dear Mary,
I was saddened to hear the news about john. Although I only knew him for a short time it seems like ive known him for much longer. You and John are a perfect example of what i wish to have in my years to come. I will never forget John or you and i wanted to say that you are in my prayers. I love you Mary. I am so sorry to learn of John's passing. I knew he was ailing, but had hoped he would overcome his illness. I am so sorry for your loss. You were married for so long and seemed so happy together. I was always so amazed at how active you and John both were.

I hope to see you down on Marco when you come to visit. I really would like to get a chance to get a Scrabble game with you.

Dear Codrea family,
Although I did not know John for very long, I loved him very much. He was a great man. I had many great moments with him.
My favorite memory was a few weeks ago, I went in his room one morning and he was already awake. I walked in and said "hi, John". He smiled and said "Hi, sweetie". I said "I love you, John" and he said "I love you more". I will never forget that smile.
I feel lucky that I had a chance to know know him. My thoughts and prayers are...

Dear Mary and Family,
I was sorry to hear of the passing of John. You have been in my thoughts many times since he became ill. He and Kenny can get back to talking over old times that they had in the Marine Corp. God Bless John and all of you!
