Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Coghill, Jonathan, Chris, and family, I am so sorry to just now hear of John's passing. I knew him to be kind and wonderful. I remember you, Joanne, the same. And Jonathan and Chris are remembered dearly from Sunday school. You are a fabulous family and one that I remember with love and caring. Sincerely, Helen

My prayers and condolences go out to the Coghill family. Mr. Coghill was my 5th grade teacher. I'll never forget he abruptly stopped teaching because he spotted a robin outside the window. He then explained to us how that was the first sign Spring would be coming soon.

Dear Joanne and family,
I was so very saddened to hear of your loss of John. My sincerest sympathies and prayers for you all. Knowing John for so many years has always been a joy. He would always have a kind warm welcoming smile when greeting me, and anyone. It was always great fun to see both you Joanne, and John in our comings & goings around Windsor. Do know you are all in my prayers.
Fondly, Jean Nolan

Dear Joanne and family,

My deepest sympathies to all of you on the passing of John. I'll always remember his contagious laughter, deep concern for others, musical talents and his unique way of telling stories. I especially loved witnessing his love and affection for, his wife, Joanne, his children and grandchildren. I will truly miss him but am grateful to God, Almighty, for allowing me to know such a beautiful soul.

I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing. My mother was his neighbor for the past 12 years, and he was always there to help her after my father passed away. May he rest in peace.

I am so very sorry to hear about John's passing. Him and Joanne are among the very first contact I had in the Hartford world of music when I moved from Canada to Connecticut in 2001. He was always so nice and so pleasant, such a gentleman. He will be missed greatly. All my deepest condolences to Joanne and all his beautiful family. My prayers are with you all.

Cathy and I send our deepest condolences to his wife and family.

It is with great sadness that we learned about John's death. We never had him as a teacher, but our son, Steven, did. I will never forget the great year Steven had with John as his teacher. In fact, it was a year that John team taught with a Special Ed teacher and the class was a combined one. These teachers did such a great job that our son, who had a sister with a disability, did not realize it was a combo class until I told him when he complained about a child that was acting out. This was...

So sorry to hear about John. In the dictionary, the definition of integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. They should have included a picture of John. He was a bright star in the Bloomfield teachers' community. He was a joy to work with and I am grateful to have known him.
