Not sure what to say?

To Mrs. Colbert and Family: Please accept my sympathy on the death of your husband and father. I saw the notice in the paper and recognized the name. It has been many years since I have seen you, Mrs. Colbert, but I remembered you instantly when I read the notice. You will probably remember me from Phyllis Wheatley YWCA...you worked with my mother, Mary Mahan. Sandra and I became friends during that time. Again, my condolences to your family.

Hay Dad,

I thank God for the time we spent together. I thank Him, for every time you showed up for Vernon, Keva, and myself. You are a wonderful example of how a father's love, for his family were to be demonstrated. God must really love me, to have given me you. Your time on earth was well spent.

Thank you Father, thank you Dad.

2 Timothy 3:17
"That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works"

Love,
Lorisy

To The Family,
Sincere condolences upon the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandfather. I knew Leroy when I was a teen growing up and into young adulthood. I remember that he was always dressed "to the nines" with a shine on his shoes and a smile on his face. He was always very pleasant and polite.
I heard of his illness and he is surely in a better place now where there is no pain.
Remember that "Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal."

To The Colbert Family,
Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning (and wherever Jesus is it is always morning. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. You have our deepest sympathy. The Yerby Family
