Not sure what to say?

I remember as a child visiting his family and I loved his mother, my mother's dear sister,my cousin, but he was older

I hold my love for John Colburn Sr. and his dear wife Doris close to my heart. Time does not diminish that love at all as I treasure recalling the fond memories of the years my husband Wes and I were able to enjoy their friendship and the good times we shared with them. I keep John Colburn Jr. and his wife Sandy and their family along with Dawn Wilder and her family in my prayers and treasure keeping our friendship ongoing as we await the day when we will be able to see our loved ones once...

John and Doris were good neighbors for many years in Macatawa. We shared our love of sailing, of our dear North Hill and of Pearson watercraft. John was a kind and thoughtful friend who kept in touch with us after we moved away. We will miss his warm voice on the phone. He was especially supportive of John A. in his ongoing struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Our whole family joins us in sending sympathy to Doris, and we hope knowing you are in the thoughts and prayers of your friends and...

John Colburn was our neighbor and friend for many years at Macatawa. He and Doris shared our love of sailing, of our North Hill, and of Pearson watercraft. He was a kind friend who stayed in touch with John Aves after we moved away, and encouraged him in his struggle with Alzheimer's disease. His warm voice on the phone was always welcome, and will be sadly missed. Our family joins me in sending our sympathy to Doris, and we hope knowing you are in the thoughts and prayers of your friends...

John's loss is greatly felt by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. My husband, Bob and John were cousins and John and Doris were an important part of our lives for many years. Doris and I are so lucky to have such great memories of both John and Bob. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.

We were saddened to hear of Brother Colburns death. He was always kind to both of us and we enjoyed our time together in the ministry. May Jehovah be your strength. Our prayers and Christian love to all the family.

We send our condolences to John Jr. And Sandy and their children and families.john Sr. Was a true gentleman. Who will be missed by many. Sincerely, Fred and Janice Schweitzer

Our dear friend and brother will not sleep long...the New World is right around the corner! Thank Jehovah for our wonderful hope. Our love and prayers are with dear Doris and her loving family. Jack and Carole Henninger

Once I met John and Doris it didn't take me long to see why my Wes loved John from the time they went to school together and neither one knew Jehovah at that time but 30 years later they learned that both were servants of Jehovah and so their deep love for one another continued. Of course our love for Doris is deep and together John and Doris were one precious team loved by so many. John was such a good man in every way and will be dearly missed as we await the grand day when we will welcome...
