It was with heartfelt sadness that we learned of John's death. Lane and I will always remember the many pleasant hours we spent together. He was a great companion and a warm friend.

We loved John because of the gentle, kind, intelligent man that he was. We are truly grateful that we were able to meet him and get to know him, even for so short of a time. This loving, gentle man's life had a profound effect on us. As Susan and his family feel - our future without him is hard to imagine. However, we have found great consolation in the knowledge that he will suffer no more and is with his Jimbo. RIP, our dear friend!
