Not sure what to say?

To Theresa and the Collins family I extend my deepest sympathies. I thought Jack's greatest gift was the children. Growing up with Dave and Michelle and having known Ron and Sean helped build my worth.

Collins Family, and Friends,
Jack was a wonderful man, and quite a great host as Brewery Tavern owner with his lovely wife. I cut my political teeth after many City Council meetings with my Father-in-Law, Councilman Ray Dietz, Frank Gaugler and others who insisted on going to the "Brewery" after their meetings, to share the meeting results. I tagged along and learned enough from them, including Jack, to then become a Councilman myself..in '74. Thanks Jack for your hospitality and...

Theresa and Family -- Deepest sympathies from my family to yours on Jack's passing. I worked for Jack from November 1968 to September 1970, and he always made it lively and fun at the office. My wife Sharon (Szymakowski) and I often recall fondly the Globe's Marching and Chowder Society dinners in the back room at the OBT, where, of course Theresa, you were assigned to make us happy for hours with food and pitchers. May you have peace and understanding to ease your loss.

Mrs Collins and family
I remember wonderful times at the Brewery Tavern and your parties at Stone Harbor. Please pass on my condolences to Lynn, Kelly and David.

Dear Theresa,Ronnie,Sean and your families-I was very saddened to hear of Jack's recent passing. He was a wonderful man and meant a lot to many, many people, as well as to my own family, over the years.I have many wonderful memories of him at the OBT, as well as of he, my dad, Chubby and Whitey there. If the walls could talk in that place! I am sorry I could not be there to say these things to you all in person-but know that I am thinking of you all and sending my love and prayers. God Bless...

Theresa and family. Our condolences are with you and your family at this time. We regret that we couldn't be with you at this sad time due to health problems. He was "one of a kind" and we'll miss him. All our love..Chubby and family

After awhile you learn the difference between holding a hand and obtaining soul. And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning and company doesn't mean security. And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts and presents aren't promises.
And you begin to accept your losses and your defeats with the grace of a women not the grief of a child, and you keep your head up and your eyes ahead. And you learn to build all your roads today because tommorrows ground is too uncertain for...

Dear Collins Family, I am so sorry to hear about Jack. One thing I can say for sure is that he had an infectious smile. Even though we left Bethlehem years ago, I can always remember his smile and how kind and warm he was to me and the rest of my siblings. Our heartfelt sympathies goes out to you and your families. When my mom, Margie died, someone told me..."a heart that touches the lives of others, goes on forever" and I promise you that you will see this from everyone that was blessed...
