Mrs.Collins and Family,
I am deeply sadden by John's passing. I'm a former student(class of '83), who was blessed with the opportunity to fall under his wing. His counsel, guidance , humor and personality helped me tremendously in college. Good advice, a sounding board or just a good talk he was a fantastic man and a genuine friendly face. He made a difference in my life and was truly one of my most cherished memories of my time at GSC. You are all in my thoughts!!

Sad to hear of John's death. I remember him from many ETS scoring sessions, where his storytelling skills helped make the work easy. It was heartwarming to watch him and Marilyn work together.

I was so saddened to hear of John's passing, but I also have fond and silly memories of TSE weekends and John with the perpetual twinkle in his eyes. I know you have wonderful memories to cherish.

Marilyn,
I was sorry to learn of John's passing.
As colleague and mentor during my early years at Glassboro State/Rowan,John was good humored, even tempered, generous with his time, and generally helpful. He seemed to subscribe to what an old friend of mind called the eleventh commandment: "Thou shalt not take thyself too seriously," the violation of which is hardly unknown in academic life.
Please accept my condolences.
