My sincere condolences to all the family of the late John Collins and his sister Marjorie with whom I exchange Christmas greetings and who had informed me of his death. Like my brother Finbarr I met his dad Stephen in 1966 at the old family home in West Cork and at his sisters home , Auntie Katie and Nora at Kilbarry ,Dunmanway ,Co.Cork Ireland

I never met john but I did meet his dad my uncle Stephen in 1966 when he made his only visit back home to west cork

Our deepest condolences to Mrs. Collins, John, Steve & Katie. Mr. Collins was a great father (as you can tell by his kids & grandkids) and neighborhood dad. He was a big part of our childhood memories of our own little town, Prince Pond.

We will always remember John's sense of humor and his infectious laugh! He was a great & loyal friend, husband & dad. He is missed every day!
