Not sure what to say?

Thank you so much to all of you that took the time to write a memory of our Dad. I read them all on Monday, the 4th anniversary of his passing. It warmed my heart. Thank you. Peter

Always a good friend and happy to see his friends

Thank you all for the notes on my father! He was a great man in so many ways. I love to hear the stories on the military shop. He was a excellent story teller, and all thru our life he would deliver his messages to me and my brothers thru stories. He taught us honesty, integrity, be true to your name, work hard, treat people with respect, and never give up. These traits will live on in me and my children. I also think he was pretending to be deaf in one ear, just to get us all to talk...

still on my mind John...not the same without your warm welcome in the store...and the conversations...meet you up in heaven...more conversations...LeRoy

John has always been in my memory bank going back to 1948. Then I was a very small lad age 7. John went out of his way then to be extra nice to me, often on the team bus traveling to a football game. He was dressed in his football attire and I in my cheerleading outfit as the little team mascot traveling together on the same team bus each week . He was big and strong and at the same time soft and sweet. Alice, am so very sorry. Thinking of you
