Dear Ryan and Family,

John was my Grandfather's (John Felix Comitz) nephew and I remember going to John's butcher shop in Ashley when I was a young girl He was always smiling and friendly. I am sorry for your loss.

Having grown up in the neighborhood, I have fond memories of John and Helen. They were loving parents and wonderful neighbors. We kids all started out at Holy Family Church school together and I spent time playing with Clairie and the Kozicki's and other kids in the area. My prayers go out to the family.
Rest in peace, John.

I knew Comitz' family when they lived on Nicholson Street, near Prospect Street, Wilkes-Barre Township before they relocated to Ashley. We lived across street. Comitz were wonderful, kind and sociable family. My thoughts, regrets and prayers are offered
