Not sure what to say?

John touched my life. He was a talented attorney, a wonderful friend, mentor and all around good person. John always had a laugh to share or joke to tell, but when it came down to business he always had his game face on. John always spoke fondly of his family especially his children. He will be missed dearly but not forgotten.

It was with shock and sadness that I heard the news that John passed. We had so many great conversations, debates, and general comradery in the Attorney General's office. He was so proud of his family and always kept his priorities straight. Honor and integrity were not simply words to John, they meant the world to him. I was inspired by his values, and I was blessed to have known him and have his friendship.

On behalf of my brother John's immediate family: Wife Chris, Son-John III, Daughter-Tyler and our siblings Stanley, Michael, Leslie, Lynn and Richard, we sincerely thank you for the heartfelt kindness, thoughts, prayers and words of encouragement.

John was a great husband, father, brother and friend. He will be sadly missed by all. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers, especially Chris. As you can imagine this is a very difficult period for her and rightfully...

I was so sorry to hear of John's passing. I am a defense attorney and dealt with him in Springfield District Court prior to his promotion to the Superior Court. He was always pleasant to deal with in court and always had a smile on his face. He also had a very good sense of humor. Sometime after we first met I forgot his name and when I asked him what it was he said, "Moses", so for over a month when I would see him I would say, "Hello Moses", because I believed that that was his real name....

John was a great man, a honest man, and a man who was about his business. I personally worked with him when I presented cases to him when he was in the Hampden County DA's office (Superior Court). I was so glad that he made it upstairs to the Superior Court level. With the amount of crooks out in the street who seem to live forever, it is truly a shame that such a great man's life was cut short so soon.

Please accept my deepest condolences and my sadden thoughts. We worked together for many years. He will be gravely missed. Meeting this man changed my life. He had a heart of gold, loved his family like any man should, his dedication to his job was overwhelming, a great sence humor. May the Lord be with you for ever and always.

Ms. Chris it saddens me so to hear of your loss. You are in my thoughts. As you go through this tough time, always remember the love and the fond memories. Remember that he will always be by your side. We are but a phone call away if ever you should need us. Linda Cuevas & Family

Ms. Chris, I am so sorry for the loss of your husband. Although I never got to meet him personally, I feel I knew him through our conversations and the beautiful stories you shared about your family. You and your children are in my thought and prayers. Much love, Ms. Rosa Caraballo
