Deepest sympathy to the family on their loss. A loss for his fans!! Love to all! Carole MacInnis Nova Scotia, Canada!

I will miss John! During the Mid-Eighties, John was my good friend and jogging partner. We usually enjoyed long-distance rans during lunch breaks. At that time he was a post doctoral researcher at the University of Utah. I lost contact with him when a moved to Oklahoma. I have no doubt that because of his kindness and integrity, he is now enjoying his eternal reward, Goodbye John!

I met John in the mid 80´s. I was an undergraduate student at the Univ of Utah. I met John through our love of running. He´s ran daily (rain or shine). I always enjoyed running with John and having great conversations with him. He was very kind and good hearted. I moved to California after I graduated and lost contact. I ran into John (while visiting SLC) at a public pool in SLC with his daughter Jade in 2004 and had the pleasure of catching up. RIP John.

It was my great pleasure to have worked with John in the Social Work Department at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital for a number of years. John could always be counted on to treat his patients/clients with the most current academic/scientific therapies, compassion and sensitivity. John made meaningful contributions to the Social Work department as well as the other respective departments and specialties he was assigned to! John was a kind, good human being and I valued my friendship and...

I worked with John at Huntsman Cancer Institute and he was a gentle, kind, caring soul. Peace be with you John

John was such a sweet and caring guy. We had such memorable times! Will and Grace were great hosts when he was visiting in Urbana. The warmth and laughter at that home was infectious. I wish John peace. I wish his family and all who loved him strength in the time ahead. John was a sweet and gentle soul.
