Father John Patrick Conley

I became a friend of John at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and we were roommates for a while. I visited John when he first went to San Francisco and he visited me a few times in Montreal, Quebec. We had lost contact a few years ago. I am saddened to learn of his death but I am sure that he is in a better place. My condolences to Jane Anne and all John's nieces and nephews. I pray that God has taken him in his arms for a well-deserved reward. John was a remarkable man and a good friend. ...

Father John was a Force for Good. I feel fortunate to have known him while he was at St. Bartholomew's.

He took time to educate me on Catholic faith and beliefs, for which I thank him. He was fearless in pursuing what he felt was right and an inspiration to his entire family and beyond.

John was a man with a great intellect, integrity and wit. He was never afraid to face challenges of whatever nature. He was a wonderful classmate.

I wish Uncle John eternal peace and love.
