Jenny joins me in extending our prayers and deepest sympathy to Uncle Jay's family during this grieving period. I have fond and happy childhood memories of him at family get togethers on Sunday evenings and Christmas time. Although I have not seen him in a number of years, I have always felt that he had a profound influence in my decision to join him as a "brother" in the Knights of Columbus fraternal organization.

We are saddened to hear of the lost of Mr. Connick. He was such a delightful person. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My deepest sympathy to your family. It is hard to lose a loved one. I remember Mr. Connick with fondness because of his friendship with my dad, William F. "Bill" Green, at Mobile Beverage Co. You are in our prayers.

Jay Connick was my Grandfather, he will be sadly missed. Grandpaw, as we all called him, looked at the world different than most people, "always keep your head up" he told me once, and I'll never forget it, not until the day I die. I feel great regret that I didn't get to spend the last days of his life with him. There's a lot of fault involved, on both sides. I looked up to my "Grandpaw" and I believe in my heart that everyone around him, and knew him in previous years looked up to him as...
