I am very sorry to hear about Jack. We had spent many, many hours playing basketball, or sharing a meal or drink and he ALWAYS had a joke or a funny story. Many times he'd be poking fun of something he had done himself. He just might be the person I knew in the world who laughed the most.

Fr. Jack’s self-deprecating humor often eclipsed his insight and intelligence. His everyman way of presenting during retreats and days of reflection made him accessible and popular. I enjoyed working with him while he was Our Lady Florida. I extend my condolences to his family.
