Not sure what to say?

It was over 35 years ago when as a young guy starting a business I was looking for someone who sold appliances that I could trust. John's warm hand shake, big smile and our conversation made me know I came to the right place. Since that day I only dealt with John when it came to appliances. He became a true friend quickly. In a jam I could count on John. In need of non business advise- John was there. I loved walking into his store just to talk to him. I look at the picture in the obituary...

As I look at Uncle Jr.'s picture I still cannot believe he is gone. Just as I thought grandma Cook would live forever I thought the same of him. I know that grandma welcomed him into heaven with open arms and they are all together now. I will treasure the times we got to spend when him and you Aunt Marie and will miss seeing his post on Facebook. Aunt Marie I am sending you love and prayers through this difficult time. Love you Uncle Jr. RIP!

Uncle Jr. I will miss you greatly. Thank you for all the great memories. Aunt Marie my heart is broken for you. My thoughts are with you at this time. I have been truly blessed to have you as my aunt and uncle.

John was a true gentleman. The kindness and honesty, were evident in his gentle smile. There are few that possess the qualities of a man like John. Being in my profession I was occasionally in need of John's expertise. He was always eager to assist in any possible way. Due to the his nature, of a heart and soul of that was always giving. He was a Summit institution, but more than that he was genuine !
