Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 29, 2016.
John "Jack" Ritz Cooper, 69, of Brewster, formerly of Branchburg, NJ died on Friday, July 29, 2016. He was the loving son of the late John Ritz and Helen (Romanowski) Cooper, Sr. He is predeceased by his first wife Analia Cooper and his step-son Andrew Colditz (2005). He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years Carolynn (Spencer) Cooper, his son Aaron and sisters Peggy Cooper and Nancy Cooper. Jack also leaves behind his dog whom he adored "Daisy".

Jack was an accountant and worked for G.E. for several years before entering a partnership in his own accounting business, American Air. Jack semi-retired as a realtor and worked with William Raveis Real Estate for 8 years.

The best years of Jack's life was with his two boys, Andrew and Aaron. Together they enjoyed many activities including skiing, trips to The Cape, and sports. Recently Jack began Kayaking.

Jack had an awesome sense of humor and was very patient with people who didn't get his jokes! He was a well-read and had a curious nature into a wide range of topics. He was gracious by nature, he was a good man.

To Carrie and Aaron,
I want to say how devastated I am to hear the news. I loved Jack dearly and have nothing but great memories of the times we spent as a family. You have both been in my thoughts over the past few years and I've always wondered how everyone is doing. It's so unfortunate that we lost touch. Hopefully we can reach out to one another soon. My deepest sympathies go out to you both. Cary (Fields) Nicolo

To my dear friend Carrie and to an earnest young man Aaron,
I am completely heartbroken for the loss of such a fine husband, a loving father, a funny man, and Daisy's top-dog-human. I have been thinking of you both and the rest of the family and friends in this time of heavy sadness. See you soon, for hugs and heart!
