John Corenswet

Only today, January 26, 2020, as I came across the name Corenswet in the Arts Section of the Sunday NYTimes did I learn of John Corenswet's death.

For over three yeas he worked closely with me, editing my book A LIFE MAKING MUSIC which came out over a year ago--under my writing name, Ann Copeland..Published by SHANTIARTS. I had sent him a copy when it finally appeared. and acknowledged his importance as the editor, but I had never heard a reply, so I had wondered.

Then came...

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family during this time of grief. 1 Corinthians 15:26.

He was a brilliant editor. I am very lucky to have had the benefit of his fine sensibility and humor as I worked from his notes revising my most recent novel with Paul Dry Books. I am very sorry that he is gone. Condolences to his family and friends and colleagues.
