having worked with John at both Holy Trinity and the Long Island Lutheran basketball camp for many years, I can tell you that he stood tall but never looked down on anyone. He was a man of humility and compassion and always a gentleman, and his friendly manner and big smile will always be missed. Rest with the angels my friend.
