Not sure what to say?

Doesn't a day pass and I'm doing something difficult that I think, "what would John do". Miss my best friend for many years. All my best wishes to the family.

Time passes so quickly. Seems like I'm always working on Car, mower, yard equipment that I tell Cathy I'm sure Cos would know what I need to do. One of best friends and fix it person I've had the pleasure to work with and sorely miss. My best to Kim, AJ, Matt, Conner and all the family. Is thought of so often. Rest in peace my best friend

Hardly a day goes by doing something I wonder "now what would John tell me to do". My very best friend and we had so many good times. Lunch weekly but I was always the one that he wanted me to pick him up and take him back to work! Kim, know it's not a good time but I'm sure you, AJ and Matt dealy miss him as the rest of us do. Hope y'all are fine under the circumstances, all our love. Robert and Cathy.

I still have a difficult time believing I lost my best friend a year ago. Always there to help describe a problem or fix it. Supremely smart individual with a great wit. Since I retired from the mill we almost always met for a lunch weekly, course I had to drive from Summerville, pick him up and return him to his office. He loved Maries on Rivers where he and Russ Easterling always went so that became one of our favorite choices unless we wanted WINGS which we both loved. Checking out...

A most impressive fellow and a privilege to have known. Sincere condolences to the family on their untimely loss. I will always hear John's advice when I golf "Hit em straight!" Thanks John for so many contributions.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time Jim.

John was a friend and colleague of mine for many years at Westvaco/MWV/Ingevity. He was a bright, shining personality who loved life. A great wit, a gruff exterior but a very caring heart. I will miss him so very much. My heartfelt sympathy to Kim, AJ and Matt and family during this very difficult time.
God Bless, Tina Sharkey

John was the embodiment of the greatest characteristics of a human being. Although I have only known John for 6 years his "larger then life sized" personality and enormous heart has left a tremendous impact on me. He will be greatly missed but the memories of our time together will always bring a smile to my face.
My condolences to the entire Cosgrove clan.

I have very vivid memories of Cosgrove, as my dad Russ, always called him. I can't begin to count the number of times I watched him fix something around my parents house, listened to his entertaining stories or just hung out with dad and Cosgrove in the drive way listening to them banter back and forth. He was a great guy, an unbelievable friend to my dad and positively impacted many people in his life. John will be missed. Prayers with you all.
