I was in his class when he first came to Bowen. He was the youngest after Lou Wasserman,Harry Pritikin and Bill Mutz. I caught a pass in gym class and he asked me why I hadn't come out for football?I said I had played some frosh-soph basketball and baseball and preferred my nose just the way it was.Lol. He laughed . Coach was a big influence in my life. While my basketball talent was lacking, he admired and praised my hard work ethic. He believed in me, and helped me believe in myself. He lauded my scholastic achievements. His basketball knowledge was vast, his passion was intense, and his patience was sometimes short. He will be remembered fondly by his many players.
