I saw the rake and the obituary at Wardlow Park last week and I am amazed at the wonderful life John had. I helped him a few times with his bag of pine needles when I was there walking my dog. He seemed grateful and was so determined to rake those needles. Condolences to the family, I am glad to have met John. Rest in Peace.

He is the best Grandpa ever and even in a wheel chair he would still play games and make the best of life and always had a smile on his face. R.I.P. John love you.

Saw him in at wardlow having fun and he had a nice warm smile !

Just saw the white rake and posted sign at Wardlow park about John’s passing. I’m so sorry for your loss. He was a kind man that I only met about 2 years ago while he raked pine needles at Wardlow park. I walk my pup through Wardlow and around our community and had seen him there for a long time prior to meeting him.
