John M. Cotner

John was an adult friend when I was a teenager. He guided me and advised me. I felt like he had my best interests at heart and I trusted him with no doubt. He was a great friend.

I was looking for an attorney and thought of Mr. Cotner he handled my mother's estate. It saddened to see he died. He was so kind and guided me through it easily. I just wanted his family to know of my feelings

John´s obituary was a beautiful tribute to his life and to those who loved him. John Cotner was a remarkable gentleman, dedicated family man, committed attorney, interesting conversationalist with infectious laughter and a precious friend. We are thankful to have shared so many wonderful times with the Cotner family, a unique friendship which first began 30+ years ago at a Vanderbilt football game. I´m very sorry to hear of John´s death. I knew him as a young attorney at Shipman, Utrecht. and Dixon Law firm. My mom was legal secretary there for 35 plus years. He was funny, kind and well liked. My deepest condolences to his family.

I am so very sad and sorry to hear of John´s passing. I worked with him along with my Mother in a Troy, OH law office in my teen years. John was such a great friend and mentor, an important person in my growing up. I have always kept him in my heart. My sincere condolences to his family .
