The last time I saw John was when his children were very young and went to St. Sebastian School. I remember very well, the beautiful joy and warm sense of hospitality that he and his family extended to all that they came in contact with. Know that my prayers and sympathy are with you during this time!

I worked for Ohio Edison/First Energy for 37 years. I knew John for most of that time. I remember volunteering with him at the Men & Women's Club Corn Roast and that was a lot of years ago. He did love to dance, he hardly left the floor. I didn't directly work with him, but I think everyone in that time period knew John. My sincere sympathy to you and his family. He won't easily be forgotten.

Dan, Jonn, Lisa, and Maryanne, I'm so very sorry for your great loss. Your Dad/Husband was truly one of the most friendly, kind, and wonderful people that I've ever met. Knowing what a good and honorable life he led is perhaps one of the only things that makes times like this possible to bear. I have always great admired all of you, and how close and loving your family is. My prayers are with you in your time of grief, and my heart aches for each one of you.
