Michael, although I never got to meet your Father, I sure wish I had. I enjoyed reading a little of his life history here in this legacy. Your Father was truly a Great remarkable Man. I knew Mr. Coughlin as he was the father of a very good and dear friend. Back in the late ‘70’s whilst leaving employment with U of F and before beginning my career, he put me to work for a couple months painting houses and apartments for Mary Mueller. He was always telling jokes with a ready chuckle and wit, but an upright character and an exceedingly, pleasant and rare person who became a friend. all though I didn't know John and knew Joanne only so briefly in grammar school, my thoughts and prayers are with the Coughlin family at this time.
