Peggy and Family,

I just heard the news about John passing away, I wish I would have heard sooner so I could have attended the services.
I always liked John and never saw him without a smile on his face. I can remember him at the apartment on 53rd and Halsted, laughing and joking with Pat and myself.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your children.

I'm sorry to hear about John. Peggy, you and your family are in my prayers. I won't be able to attend the wake as I am in Houston visiting my daughter.

I can still remember the first day we met the Coughlin family on Oak Park Avenue in Burbank. It is hard to believe that was almost 30 years ago! The memories are still fresh and John was like a second father to me for many years. He will be terribly missed.

A Family is a blessing to have and we should appreciate it before it is to late. So many times family members grow distant from each other and unfortunately it takes a death to bring them back to each oter. Uncle Johnny I will miss you and I am thankful of the memories that I have. Cindy Lou

Peggy, Carol Burke let me know that your husband John passed away, and I read his obit this a.m. So sorry, what do the Irish say, sorry for your troubles. I hope the good days outweighed the bad, and that the days ahead are manageable. I always think that you've worked hard since you were a kid, and you have...condolences from Judy Busse
And I miss Sue, hard to believe she's gone too...
