Not sure what to say?

I knew Bud when we were in med school (he `73, me `76), when we were hemepath residents/fellows (he east coast, me west coast), and when we practiced in Virginia. He was my prime consultant for difficult hemepath cases. He was my friend.

Victoria Cruz and I were residents and fellows at Vanderbilt with John. He was an incredible pathologist and friend. The description in the obituary is perfect. I fished, camped, and traveled with him. He will be sorely missed!

Victoria Cruz and I (Stephen Aleshire) were residents and fellows at Vanderbilt when John was there in the 1980's. He was both an incredible pathologist and friend. Steve fished and worked with John, and everything said in the obituary is true. He is sorely missed! I am sorry I only just learned of his passing (July 2024). His humor was the best.

John Cousar was a proud UVA Medical School Class of 1973 member. We fondly remember John, especially during our four years as students. His life and obituary bring joy and sadness, as do all heartfelt memories. Lowrie Glasgow -1973 class

A classmate of Bud´s at Flora, I didn´t know him well but we shared a couple of classes and I remember him as being a handsome gentleman who always had a kind word. Please accept my condolences.

Really sorry to read about Bud's passing. The years have separated us but he will be missed none the less.

RIP Bud. You will be missed. Heartfelt condolences to the family

I was Bud's A.C.Flora classmate (1965, exchange student from Turkey)... He was a gentleman and a true friend. Please accept my deepest sympathy in your time of sorrow. Ismet Babaoglu
