Uncle John was smart, loyal, and funny, and a great story teller. His community of friends are the kind of folks who help each other for no other reason than because one may be in need or just because it seems like a good idea.

Aunt (Uncle) Sunny, As a 13-year old I remember being in awe I had an Uncle who was a true DIY-er, with a beautiful and smart new wife, who flew around together in their own airplane. Instantly Uncle John became my mentor. I identified with him as we shared an interest in fixing, improving, and building things. Dear Sunny, we are so sorry to hear about your loss. John was a great adventurer and made the most every experience. We remember how fondly he spoke of his time in Germany - only one of his many trips exploring. We send you lots of love and keep you in our thoughts during this difficult time.
