To the Cox family. You have all been sisters and brothers to me and my family. Rev. John Ricky Cox, as we called him in Fairfield, Alabama was like a brother to me. He was a kind and respectful soul . My heart is still broken on the death of his sister Phillis Zimmnie, Baby sister,who was the first black air line stewardess Bobbie. From a little girl in Woodlawn Garden Apts. I have loved & admired 'Ricky', Elder John. R. Cox... I used to love to see him coming with my Uncle John wearing the biggest smile.... I remember attending C. Bethel services with my Granny... she loved her some Ricky... My prayers are with the Cox family.
