John and I were high school classmates in Boy Central high school Butte Montana He was a person of a special kind, and although we were not close personal friends, I often thought of him over the years. I am sad to hear that he has passed away, but not surprised to read about his significant life.

John was one of the most significant people in my life, a very special person. I worked with him (as a board member), learned from him, and enjoyed being with him. We need more like him.

Alison and I were so sorry to hear about John. John and I have been friends for over 55 years. We took several trips with he and Ellen as John was the expert traveler. He was an excellent hospital CEO and he directed a big merger in Harrisburg successfully. John will be missed by everyone who knew him. I will certainly miss him. He sure loved his family.
