John A. Crocco M.D.

My association with Dr. Crocco began with my internship at Kings County in 1970, and I continue to admire him and follow his example as much as I can. Literally hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of patients get better care because of what Dr. Crocco taught his students, residents, fellows, and the attending physicians who were privileged to work with him. HIs memory is truly a blessing.

Just read of Dr Crocco's passing today (12/23/16). He was one of my inspirations as when I was his pulmonary student and, eventually, Chief Resident in Pulmonary Medicine with Dr Harold Lyons, at Kings County Hospital. One of the best and nicest physicians I ever had the honor to know. RIP. Richard F Walker

Deepest condolences to Johns family. Karen and I both worked as SP's with John at the med school in Piscataway , many times. He was a true gentleman and wonderful teacher.He will be missed.Rest in peace.

John was my teaching attending physician during my internship at Kings County in 1970-71, and later became a cherished colleague here in New Jersey. He has inspired generations of medical students and young physicians and he continues to inspire this not-so-young physician. Hundreds of thousands of patients will receive better medical care because of Dr. John Crocco. His legacy is incalculable.

A truly great man and a true and great friend!

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

The gates of heaven opened wide to receive Dr. Crocco. I am fortunate to be witness to the indelible formation that you left on your amazing and kind daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Crocco and your grandchildren, whom I am blessed to call my friends. May you rest in eternal peace. You are loved and honored by so many!
