Carolyn and John,

Although we only knew him briefly as neighbors and as friends, Roger was a wonderful person and lawyer. He was also wise beyond his years. I am also glad to see that John followed his father's advice, graduated from Vanderbilt, married and gave Roger the gift of a grand daughter. We were fortunate to have known him and are very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you,

Roger will be deeply missed. I've known him for more than 40 years, he was my brother-in-law for several of those years. My sympathy goes out to his entire family and friends.
