John P. Cross

I met John in 1965, as a Newark police officer, he was a great friend for the next 20 yrs, a solid great guy, he taught me many things, rest in piece great friend.

I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle John and of course Aunt Anne. Decades of dinners, vacations, shopping and sharing special moments and milestones thru our lives. Gary and Glenn my heart goes out to both of you and of course, your families. We may have lost touch, but that didn't change the many incredible wonderful memories that I shared with both of you and your parents. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time....

I would so look forward to pulling up a chair and having a conversation with Mr. Cross. His stories and amazing wisdom will stay with me forever. Mr. C was honest and sincere and truly one of the best men I was blessed to have met in my lifetime.

Mr. C was truly one of a kind and I will sooo miss him.
I take solace in knowing that he is with his wife Anne and he looks down upon his family with that smile.

I have fond memories From long ago of spending time with John, Anne,and both sons Gary and Glenn. My Dad and John were very close many years ago and my brother Tom and I spent great times with the Cross family at our home in Old Bridge. John was a patient at Dr. Sauchelli's dental office in Clifton, where I work. I always enjoyed seeing him and we always had very interesting conversations. He was a lovely man. We will all miss seeing him in the office.

John, a long time friend from our Ironbound days. He was truly devoted to his family and a fine friend. John will be remembered at Holy Mass and in prayers. A sure friend and Ann, his wife, both will be missed. May he see Our Lord face to face and find eternal rest and peace.
