Dear Peggy & Family, You remain in my thoughts and prayers. Sandra

Peggy John would be so proud of you carrying on the way you have Love and hugs Cindy

So sorry to hear this. John introduced me to skeet shooting. I always looked forward to seeing him when I was in the area. He shall be missed at the Fin, Fur and Feather Club.

Extending my deepest sympathies to John's family, friends, and colleagues. I worked for John a number of years ago and was shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. He was always such a gentleman and a fine boss - smart, funny, and devoted to his insurance publishing business. I'm sorry to be delayed in my condolences, I was traveling or I'd have paid my respects in person. Wishing comfort for all who love him - may his memory be a blessing.

Single Memorial Tree

To the entire Cross Family, We are sending love and faith to all of you and would like to give our deepest sympathies. We have been so lucky to have John and Peggy as neighbors. Sending love, Kelly, Matt, Brayden, Emma, Evelyn, and Ellie.

Peggy, I wanted to share a classic John story. I never shot but decided to take a lesson with Jeff Hulton many years ago. I was not good! After a little practice, John yelled over "Procter, time to take your game to the course" after which I went out to take a crack at my 25 clays - I think I hit two completely by coincidence! As you know, he was the consummate gentleman and part of the wonderful fabric of old school DCPC. He will be missed in the shooting shack by many.
