Sharon, We were so sorry to hear that your earthly life with John is over. He has gone on - & you are left to carry on. I am praying for God´s comfort & grace to help you along.

Great friend and a wonderful crew member. John was always there to help out: from selling me my first power lawnmower when I bought my first house, to introducing me to his Wednesday night sailing skipper. I will always have fond memories of John.

Fair Winds

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mr. Crouch was always a super mentor to me out sailing on Yankee. We had many memorable moments out on Lake Ontario and Lake Huron. He was always kind and funny; I really enjoyed his company, not to mention his 5 Alarm chili on a rough night at sea. He and my Dad were great friends. We're so sad to hear this news.

Sharon and Family, I am so sad to hear about this. John (and Sharon) were great friends and sweet supporters of Jim and me. (John was Jim's Best Man and Sharon was the beautiful soloist at our wedding.). In addition, I remember John's sweet attention to our daughter Alex from her birth on. He was uniquely wise and always generous. AND of course, he was a GREAT chef!! We still make and have passed on some of his recipes! Always tender and loving memories...
