John Cruciani, Jr., 66, Kansas City, MO passed away November 28, 2005. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 2, 2005 at St. Peters Church, 6415 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. at the church prior to Mass. The family suggests memorial contributions to the St. Peters Church Memorial Fund or the Wayside Waifs, 3901 Martha Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137. John was born January 1, 1939 in Franklin, KS to John and Anna (Dernosek) Cruciani, Sr. He was a truck driver for Associated Wholesale Grocers for thirteen years and then owned and operated the Roxbury Market grocery store in Kansas City, MO. John was a member of St. Peters Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Cruciani, of the home; daughters, Janet Cruciani and husband, Mike Seacord, Raymore, MO, Anita Smith and husband, Gary, Peculiar, MO; son, John J. Cruciani and wife Shanda, Overland Park, KS; brothers, Harold Cruciani, San Diego, CA, Gerald Cruciani, Kennett, MO; sisters, Rosemary Shead, Kansas City, KS, Nancy Reser, Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren, Madelyn, Garrison, Brock, Alexis, Luke, Paige, Lucy, Emma and several nieces and nephews. The Cruciani family will be in our prayers. John Jr. impressed me as a caring, proud father who was devoted to his family. I attended college with John III and his wife Shanda.

Anita: I am so sorry to hear about your father. My thoughts are with you and your family.

We will keep your family in our prayers during this difficult time. I attended Christ the King Elementary School with Anita, and haven't seen her in a couple of years. God bless you!
