Not sure what to say?

My name is Susan Wiesendanger Harter.
John and I were cousins - our mother's were, I think, second cousins.
I grew up in Anniston, Alabama, he in Attalla. We would see each other occasionally. He lived with my aunt, Lillian Fields, in Anniston while attending Jacksonville College before attending West Point.
For a number of years, we were out of touch, but became re-acquainted when he would stop in Fayetteville AR while travelling to CO. We were lucky to have been able to spend time...

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your dad was such a wonderful person! I'm glad I got to know him. I'm going to miss seeing his beautiful smile at our games. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

Praying for John and keeping your family in our thoughts at this sad time.

Juanita, John, myhusband Bud and I were good, good friends for many years......I'll grieve for my good friend John, and for you and your family, Chris. Best love---Winnie Lichtenwalter

I'm glad I got to know John as a neighbor and customer in Maysville. I always enjoyed talking with him about his garden and tomatoes.

My prayers are with your family at this sad time, may God Almighty be your strength and support. Psalms 83:18. ~I.Needham

I am so sorry for your loss. May loving support of family and friends and peace from God's word strengthen you during this sad time.

We didn't get to know John until late in our lives as John and Susan, maiden name Wiesendanger from Anniston, that were cousins were separated for many years, After we made contact we really enjoyed our times together, in Gurley, in Whitepine and at our residence here in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We are saddened by John's death and will miss him greatly.
