John A. Cuadras Sr. of East Hartford, age 65, died peacefully on December 18, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba on July 11, 1953 to the late Silvia (Marrero) Cuadras and Aurelio Cuadras. He married the love of his life Jennie (Randazzo) in 1982 and they raised two devoted sons, John A. Cuadras Jr. of Wethersfield, and Daniel Cuadras of Glastonbury and gained a daughter, Amy Gallagher-Cuadras, wife of John. His life was filled with good music and great friends. He was a proud business owner of CuadGraphics with his son Daniel. He is survived by his sister-in-law Joan Daitch and husband Harvey of Wethersfield, sister-in-law Judy Blanco and husband Jim of SC, brother-in-law Joseph Randazzo and wife Elaine of Milford, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. His greatest joys who called him Papa were his grandchildren Holden, Mirabel, Eliana, and Nora. They will remember his silly spirit, gentle nature, and the many imaginative worlds he created just for them. A ceremony celebrating John's life will be held on Thursday, December 27th, 2018 at 6:00pm at Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society in John's memory. A special thank you to Dr. Albert and the nurses on CB2 at Hartford Hospital for their compassionate care.

Not sure what to say?

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss Dan. Your dad was a very kind man.

John, you were always good people. I remember visiting your home in East Hartford back in the 80s when we both worked at the Graphic Center in Bloomfield. You were playing the heck out of your guitar and making some great sounding demos. You later helped me get a job at W.E. Andrews for which I am always grateful. We didn't see each other for about the last 20 years and I feel terrible about that. I guess we just went our separate ways. Not much left to say. I'll miss you always. Bill...
