Chris Cudd was a true iconoclast. He was the first boy in Spartanburg to wear long hair - in the early 1960s. The town fathers hated that. So sorry to hear about Chris. He was my cousin. My grandmother, Delia Cudd Smith, was his father's first cousin. Chris was in my first grade class at Pine Street School. Remember when the family went to Alaska. I extend my mother's condolences as well as mine to Bobby and Dean.
