John D. Culbertson

My sympathy to John's family with their loss. I grew up in Grundy County, Iowa just north of Wellsburg. My father, George, was a tenant farmer and had all Oliver equipment. In 1988 I decided to start collecting Oliver tractors, equipment and memorabilia. I heard so many stories about John and was pleased to meet him at a national Oliver tractor show. I bought his book, "The Tractor Builder" and he personally signed the book with a message for me. I continue to cherish that meeting! David...
